Patty Mills was the star performer for Australia. he was so close to breaking the all-time scoring record for an Australian at the Olympics. Mills brought a lot of variations in his game against Slovenia. He played a major role in anchoring the teams to a convincing victory. Patty Mills put up 42 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 assists.
Many people would have expected the Luka Doncic led-team to take home the bronze medal tonight. However, it was a team from down under that put up a spectacular show of basketball and took home the medal. A truly deserved victory for the Boomers.

However, with all good things comes a lot of hate. Patty Mills worth was really questioned as to whether he will be a good fit and fill in holes in the Nets offense. The Bronze medalist has surely proved his worth after this historical win in Australian Basketball history.
Mills captained the team and he did it wonderfully. He explained how the Olympics helped bring out the best in him. Patty Mills also spoke about how he just plays the way he does and tries every day to do better. He also explained that he is not someone who puts in more effort while playing for the Boomers than an NBA team.
I am who I am. It’s just the different roles that I play That’s the easy answer.
Will Patty Mills carry the same form into the NBA? Only time will tell but if he does, then the Brooklyn nets might have just dawned scary hours upon the NBA.
