Kelly Kelly mentioned that she only went to talk to Vince McMahon twice. With that, she further detailed the time McMahon listened to her request. She said that the first time she went and said, “Hey Vince, I have this idea, what do you think about me becoming Divas Champion?”
The former WWE star revealed that Vince said “You know Kelly, I think that sounds like a great idea.” She added that she didn’t know when or what but she was eager to find out. Kelly then mentioned that a few weeks after her conversation with Vince, there was “you go and you vote for ‘Power to the People’.”
She mentioned that there were three of them. Kelly said, “It was like me, Beth, and Eve against Brie Bella.” She added that whoever the fans voted for was set to win the Divas Championship belt. The former WWE star revealed that she was standing there and she got a really high vote.
She added, “As soon as they’re like Kelly Kelly I was like oh my God I’m winning. The people picked me, it was so cool. I was so happy, it was the best moment.” Thus it seems McMahon listened to her request and in addition to that people also voted for her to become the Divas Champion.
Why did Kelly Kelly leave WWE and what is she doing now?
Kelly Kelly previously showcased an amazing run with WWE. However, she was released from her WWE contract on September 28, 2012. With that, many fans wondered why Kelly left the Stamford-based promotion. Meanwhile, previously while appearing for an interview, Kelly mentioned that she left WWE because she needed time to recover from a neck injury.
