The Super Bowl is the single biggest sporting event in American football. This year saw the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers in a highly anticipated clash. Celebrities turned up in droves to watch the giants clash for the coveted trophy, including Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, Morgan Riddle. As Sin City descended into a world of chaos over the weekend, Riddle shared her harrowing experience.
Morgan is a model and an influencer, and she has been in a relationship with Fritz since 2020. She is often spotted by her beau’s side, and Riddle has become a well-recognized face within the sporting community. Riddle attended Super Bowl LVIII, but her experiences in Las Vegas and at the stadium left her traumatized.
She took to social media to detail her frightening experience as male supporters harassed her. It got so bad that Riddle suffered a panic attack and sought shelter in the bathroom during the third quarter of the game. She even shared a photo of herself at the Allegiant Stadium stall.

In a series of stories on Instagram, Riddle spoke of her ordeal at the hands of fans. She even elaborated on how a supporter bothered her despite his son being present with him at the time.
“It was really bad at the game today. We couldn’t even enjoy the game without getting bothered by drunk, rude, gross male fans. It’s extremely stressful and scary,” she wrote in one of her stories.
Morgan Riddle’s experience at the Super Bowl sheds light on the issues women deal with every day. Crimes against women rise exponentially during any big sporting event, including trafficking. However, there are systems in place trying to combat it.
A nonprofit organization working to combat trafficking during the Super Bowl weekend
The Super Bowl saw thousands of fans flood Las Vegas during the weekend. Signs of Hope, a nonprofit organization, partnered with the police to keep the fans, particularly women, safe. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department anticipated this problem and took measures to combat it.
Human trafficking increases during major events, as highlighted by Kim Smalls, the CEO. “When large events come to Las Vegas, we see a rise in these numbers. We rank in the top three in the nation for human trafficking, both sexual trafficking and labor trafficking,” she said (via NewsNation Now).
Homeland Security made efforts to train Lyft drivers to identify potential victims of trafficking. Moreover, the TSA was also alerted to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior.
The Super Bowl this year saw almost 330,000 visitors arrive in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. It turned out to be a nerve-wracking match, as the Chiefs defeated the 49ers 25-22 to win the championship.
