The Canadian Open organizers have been making the event interesting day by day. The fourth-round matches are almost over as fans gear up for the quarterfinals. The players are not only busy on the court but also keeping themselves entertained off the court. Toronto has been bubbling with energy as the organizers have done a great job keeping the shine on one of the oldest tennis tournaments in the world.
In the latest happenings, the players at Toronto were asked to guess the top Googled questions about tennis. One of the questions was, “Why do tennis players hate pickleball”. Andy Murray said he was not a big fan of the sport, while Cameron Norrie said the game does not require any skill.
Andrey Rublev said with a smile that although it is a new game, it has become famous. Casper Ruud explained the situation differently, saying that pickleball is like a baby brother of tennis, and we always pick on baby brothers.

Matteo Berettini and Felix Auger Aliassime tried to guess every trending search. Daniil Medvedev took his time to think about the searches, while Holger Rune spared no time to answer. The players also learned about milk bags in Canada, a kitchen staple found in many parts. Gael Monfils was in doubt whenever he was asked to guess the Google search and seemed curious about why people searched all this.
Pickleball players rising over the past two years
There were not many fans of pickleball at the start. But the numbers have picked up in the last two years. Jack Sock made his pickleball debut a few months and won his first title in May. He played mixed doubles alongside world No.1 Anna Leigh Waters. Sock played all three events at the PPA North Carolina Open and won the mixed doubles title with Waters.
Pickleball has become popular as it only requires a little space and is less exhausting than tennis. Although it has become popular in the US, tennis fans are not impressed by the sport. The sport has invited criticism, and fans have said it is a sport for those who struggle in tennis.
