Next Serena in making, Coco Gauff, a teenage American, accomplished the unimaginable by claiming the 2023 US Open. At the age of just 19, she overcame World No. 1 Sabalenka to claim the US Open Women’s Singles title. After Serena Williams, she became the youngest American woman tennis champion to win a Grand Slam.
Coco also made history by becoming the nation’s first teenage girl to triumph in a Women’s Grand Slam competition. However, as soon as she won the match, she went straight to the suite where her father, Corey, was watching and sobbed in his arms. She was then joined by her mother, Candi, not long after.

As Coco Gauff covered her entire face with her hands and collapsed to the ground on her back, she was clearly emotional. Throughout the competition, Coco’s parents have been cheering her on from the audience. When Coco won, they were also in tears.

Despite falling to Aryna Sabalenka in the first set, Coco remained composed and made an incredible comeback in the following set. In fact, the Belarusian was so shaken up by her play in the second set that she began committing a lot of unintentional errors. This incredible comeback triumph is one to remember. She prevailed in three sets, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Coco Gauff gifts a mansion to her parents
Gauff has always shown immense love and respect for her parents throughout her career. Her parents have always had a significant influence on how she evolved professionally. Since she was just 4 years old, Coco’s father has been teaching her tennis, and a few years later, she began taking the sport seriously.
She started off by thanking her parents after winning the US Open championship. “Today was the first time I saw my dad cry,” she remarked. “Thank you guys,” she said to her parents. However, Coco didn’t stick just to verbal gratification, she recently gifted her parents a mansion worth millions.
According to sources, the new estate reportedly costs millions of dollars and comes fully furnished, including a tennis court. Gauff’s family had lived in Atlanta before returning to Delray Beach so that she might receive better training.
She gave her father credit for the US Open victory as well. Early in her career, she said that many people attempted “to tear them apart,” but her dad was always there to support her. Shen also disclosed that her father had made the suggestion to invite Brad Gilbert. Gauff has always thanked her parents, and her father specifically for helping shape her career in the best way possible.
