Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa have been together since July this year. The couple confirmed it during Wimbledon and have been posting pictures and videos on social media. Things have allegedly been rough with the couple in recent months. While Badosa has been stuck with injury for most of this season, Tsitsipas is experiencing poor form on tour. Both players are not in a good phase right now.
The couple has an Instagram page, “Tsitsidosa,” where they regularly update the fans about their love life. The pictures and videos have been deleted now as the reason remains unclear. Both players have not mentioned anything about the issue. Fans are worried as Badosa also posted a picture of Aryna Sabalenka where the caption was “my date.” Things are hopefully well in the Tsitsidosa camp.

Badosa had lashed out at a journalist for wrongly quoting an interview of Tsitsipas. The couple might be taking a break from the public eye for some time as it has clearly created an imbalance in the relationship. The Spaniard has been showing support to her boyfriend as she was last seen in the Davis Cup. While Tsitsipas might return to tour soon, things are not going smoothly for Badosa due to injuries.
Paula Badosa is not used to being away from the tour
Badosa has not played a professional match since July this season. Her last win came at Wimbledon in the first round. The 25-year-old has been trying to recover from a back injury, which has allowed her to play just 27 matches this season. She was ranked No.13 at the start of the season and is currently ranked No.56.
Badosa withdrew from playing at the Australian Open, French Open, and the US Open. After withdrawing from the US Open, she informed the fans that her 2023 season had come to an end. It is the first time in her career that Badosa has struggled to play matches. She said, “All this time off I realize that setbacks are part life and it’s a way to learn and grow.” The former world No.2 will now make a strong return in 2024.

The 2021 French Open quarterfinalist will drop a few more places in the rankings now. With the arrival of new stars in the game, Badosa will need to be at her best when she steps on the court next time. She has not confirmed which tournament she will make her return to as fans await the news. Badosa will be making sure to get fit in time for the Paris Olympics next year.
