Novak Djokovic has now beaten two 26-year-olds in his opening-round matches at the US Open. His opponents follow the conventional methods of staying fit and healthy, but Djokovic has other ideas. He has made various changes in his playing style and fitness habits, making him a legend. Djokovic differs from the rest of the crowd, from unique food habits to resting habits.
The Serbian has been playing in New York since his present closest competitor, Carlos Alcaraz, was two years old. Djokovic has stayed far from the city for the past few years at the US Open. He has not been staying at hotels like the rest of the players. Instead, Djokovic stays far from all the noise and the crowd. The special accommodation gives him and his family peace of mind before the matches.
Pretty sure this is the Alpine, NJ estate where Novak Djokovic is staying during the U.S. Open.
It’s owned by Gordon A. Uehling III, a former tour player and longtime friend who has turned the property into a high-tech tennis facility.

Djokovic stays in a luxurious estate that is worth $40 million dollars. The estate belongs to his friend, former ATP player-turned-coach Gordon Uehling. The property has everything a tennis player can dream of. It has all types of courts inside—grass, clay, and indoor hard courts. The estate is situated in Alpine in Bergen County.
Novak Djokovic recovering in New Jersey estate after US Open matches
Djokovic has mentioned that Uehling has been his best friend in America since 2008. He said that Uehling had been kind enough to invite him to the place. Djokovic will also be safer at the estate with the current mysterious sickness at the US Open. He pays over $40,000 to enjoy the facilities in the estate whenever he is around. With over forty acres of land, the family has no shortage of space.
When asked about the recovery at the estate, Djokovic said, “It’s great in the off days between the matches; you just kind of recharge, rejuvenate, and you’re able to come out and really have more energy.” The 36-year-old is very particular about caring for his mental and physical health. He has chosen to play fewer events each season to protect his health and to perform better in the grand slams.

Djokovic is set to face fellow countryman Laslo Djere in the third round of the US Open. They have only played one match against each other last year on clay at the Belgrade. Djokovic took three and a half hours to beat Djere in a three-setter. The world No.2 will give enough rest to his body and practice peacefully on the estate courts before making his way to Arthur Ashe Stadium.
