Over the years, Novak Djokovic has been a reverent member of the Serbian Orthodox Church. So, it is only fitting that he got his children baptized in the same church, which is what has happened according to recent reports from Serbia. Djokovic was seen connecting with fans at the Ostrog Monastery on Tuesday, after his kids, Stefan and Tara were christened in the church.
In Montenegro, the Ostrog Monastery is renowned for being one of the popular places for pilgrims. It is part of the folklore that devotees who come to visit the shrine, walk the distance of three kilometers between the lower monastery to the upper monastery, barefooted. Thus, it could have been the auspiciousness that may have prompted Novak to opt for the Church, for the baptism of his kids.
