People said how this moment will go down in history and be remembered by those kids and fans.
I have never seen anyone do this before (& maybe someone has done this before) but for me this was a key moment. Those kids will never forget that moment & maybe someday, one of them will be on centre court because of Jarry’s kind gesture.

Everyone appreciated his gentlemanly attitude and modesty.
He has the class & modesty of his grandfather, Jaime Fillol, who inherits it, does not steal it. A gentleman in all circumstances

One of the nicest gestures I’ve ever seen from any tennis player ever
How often do we see the losing player stop to sign autographs & even give their spare rackets 👏🏼— Shantanu Verma (@shaan2500) July 8, 2023
Alcaraz himself appreciated Jarry and said, “It was really, really tough” He called him an amazing player and that Jarry deserves to be on the top.
