The full line-up of players who will play in the WTA Finals is out at last. Tunisian star Ons Jabeur made the cutoff for the event and led the celebrations in a hilarious manner. Jabeur joined her colleagues Karolina Muchova and Marketa Vondrousova, as the trio will head to Cancun very soon.
Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Elena Rybakina, and Jessica Pegula had already qualified for the year-end championship. The last three spots were up for grabs, and Muchova, Vondrousova, and Jabeur clinched them.
Jabeur took to social media to celebrate the news. In true Jabeur style, the Tunisian left the Czech duo in splits, as she gave them directions to Cancun, Mexico. “Let’s go, let’s go, it’s this way. Cancun, this way. Let’s go,” said the Wimbledon finalist to the camera.

Jabeur is well-known for her humor among fans and players alike. Her fans back home in Tunisia, lovingly call her the ‘Minister of Happiness.’ Jabeur has a remarkable ability to spread joy wherever she goes.
Marketa has been on a roll this year. She has done admirably well this year, despite her injury scares. Vondrousova even won her maiden Grand Slam this year at Wimbledon, where she defeated Jabeur in the final. Her performances gave her the much-needed boost to make it to the WTA Finals in Cancun later this year.

Muchova has also performed consistently throughout the year. She made it to the finals of the French Open, before losing to Swiatek. Karolina was also a semifinalist at the US Open.
Ons Jabeur has been one of the more consistent players on the tour this year. She made it to her second Wimbledon final this year, before losing to Marketa. She even won the Ningbo Open recently and will try to keep playing the way she has, when she locks horns with the others in Cancun.

Gauff ended Maria Sakkari’s hopes of qualifying when she defeated her in the quarterfinal of the China Open. Rybakina, Muchova, and Vondrousova will be playing at the championship for the first time.
With none of the previous years’ winners participating, there will be a new champion this year. The WTA Finals will be held from October 29 to November 5.
