Serbian star Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest tennis players of all time. His 24 Grand Slam titles are a testament to his prowess as a player and his champion mentality. However, Novak’s skills are not just limited to the courts; he has a lot of hidden talents too. In addition to being one of the biggest global athletes, Djokovic is also a talented singer.
As determined as Novak can be on the court, he has a fun side too, which breaks through the surface from time to time. He has often impersonated his colleagues on the tour, to a hilarious degree. Djokovic has even been captured channeling his inner Shakira alongside his compatriot Viktor Troicki.
An old video of Novak’s impassioned singing has surfaced on social media recently. After the Serb won his 23rd major title at Roland Garros, France TV honored him by releasing the 4K version of his karaoke from 2007.

In the clip, Novak walks into the room and immediately starts belting out Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive.’ Djokovic’s song choice was immaculate, as he has encountered many battles on and off the court and survived. Gloria Gaynor’s song dominated the music scene during the late 1970s. Moreover, it was the first and last song to win the Grammy for Best Disco Recording in 1980.
The clip has gained a lot of traction online, especially in the wake of the Grammy Awards. Fans have showered praise on Djokovic, and one user thinks, “So he can retire, like tomorrow,” and his post-tennis career will thrive.
