Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic is gearing up for the new season. The Serb will compete at the Australian Open in January as the defending champion. With the pre-season drawing to an end, the anticipation is building. Asics dropped Djokovic’s kit for the slam recently, but the fans have not been very receptive towards it.
Djokovic will show up at Melbourne Park, hoping to win a record 11th title at the venue. The last time he played there, Novak won his 22nd Grand Slam title and leveled with Rafael Nadal in the title race.
This time, though, Djokovic will take to the courts as the player with the most major titles. He will aim for a 25th trophy, and he will hope to do it in the new kit Asics designed for him.

While Novak donned an all-blue kit this year, he will swap his blue shirt for a white one next season. His shirt will not be a blank canvas, though, as it bears blue patches around the collar and sides. The shorts will remain blue, and Djokovic will wear a pair of blue shoes to complete his look.
Fans have not been very receptive to Djokovic’s new look, though. Many users have pointed out that Novak’s outfits are almost always the same, stating, “Has he not worn this exact same thing 12 times?”. Another found a remarkable resemblance between Novak’s new kit and Andy Murray’s old kit.

Outfits will not really make a difference for Novak Djokovic. The Serb will be looking to add one more title to his cabinet of trophies. Even experts are backing him to continue his dominant run of form next year.
Tim Henman backs Novak Djokovic to dominate at the Australian Open
With the new season on the horizon, Djokovic will finally hope to accomplish the rare Golden Slam. Tim Henman believes that the Serb can win all four majors and an Olympic gold in 2024.
2023 was one of Novak’s best seasons, with three major titles and the Nitto ATP Finals. According to Henman, Novak will be the player to beat in 2024. “So in 2024, for sure, Djokovic is the player to beat. I think he’s the favourite at the start of the year and I still think he will dominate,” he said (via Eurosport).
