Andrey Rublev is one of the few players on the ATP tour who consistently plays matches throughout the season. He has played 18 matches since the start of this year, which is the most for a top-five player now. Other than spending his time in court, Rublev has now expanded his work outside of court. He has officially started the Andrey Rublev Foundation.
The Andrey Rublev Foundation will focus on assisting kids around the world struggling with critical illnesses. The foundation, as of now, has been funded by RUBLO clothing line, which was launched by Rublev last season. Over $150,000 has already been raised through RUBLO. Rublev has pledged to donate the profits from RUBLO to the foundation starting from now.

The Russian had launched the “Play for the Kids” collection four months back. The collection helped him collect the initial funding for the foundation. Further profits from this collection and any other collections will be diverted to the Andrey Rublev Foundation. Rublev will be the founder, and Lisa Hernandez and Galo Blanco will act as council members.
Andrey Rublev and Karen Khachanov to play a charity match at Los Angeles
The 2024 ATP season has been witnessing a lot of matches taking place off the tour. Players have started to play not just for trophies but to use their influence to bring a positive change in society. Fans can now watch Rublev take on Karen Khachanov at the UCLA Tennis Center in Los Angeles on 16 March. A part of the funds raised during the match will be used to help the Artsakh refugees.
The fundraiser event is led by Homenetmen Glendale Ararat, a non-profit organization founded in 2018. Tickets for the match will start at $15. There will be a pre-match dinner and private reception involving the event sponsors, players, and VIPs at LULU in Westwood on 15 March. The VIP tickets for the dinner will start at $300, and the guests will also get a chance to meet Khachanov.

Armenia and Azerbaijan have been engaging in border conflict since 2021. The war has been happening over the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The match between Rublev and Khachanov will raise funds for the deteriorating situation of the affected people. Khachanov had shown support for Artsakh during the 2023 Australian Open and had agreed to help the citizens in need.
