The Danish player felt that each child deserves a safe space while growing up. A few weeks back, Stefanos Tsitsipas had set up funding in Acapulco for the victims affected by Hurricane Otis. He donated $1000 for every ace he hit at the Mexican Open. His fellow players have inspired Rune to use sport to raise awareness.

Rune has already reached the semifinals twice and finals once this season. But it has been 11 months since he has won a title on tour. Rune can make use of the opportunity at Indian Wells this time and win his first title of the season and the second Masters 1000 of his career. A dominant performance in the opening match can set the tone for a winning streak for Rune.
