Aryna Sabalenka shares a healthy relationship with her fellow players. A few days ago, Sabalenka enjoyed engaging with the crowd in Toronto before her match started. It appears that she’s bringing the same lively atmosphere to the Cincinnati Masters.
With a friendly personality off the court, Sabalenka has become friends with Novak Djokovic as both players shared a few laughs at Cincinnati.

Sabalenka was seen playfully tossing the ball toward Djokovic at Cincinnati. She even trolled him for not being able to take a catch as Djokovic was laughing. Sabalenka trolled the Serbian for not being able to take the catch.
She wrote, “23 slams and still can’t catch a ball. Sorry not sorry” and tagged Djokovic in the story. The 36-year-old later reposted her story with a laughing emoji.
Both players won the Australian Open singles title this year and interacted during Wimbledon practice sessions. Sabalenka had become friends with Djokovic after they were on team Falcon in the World Tennis League. She interacted with Djokovic and Grigor Dimitrov and said both players were very friendly.

During Wimbledon, Sabalenka said that she appreciates Djokovic giving advice whenever she asks and has learned much from him. She said, “It’s good to be friends with such a legend and you can learn a lot from him so I really appreciate all the advice that he has given me.”
She also had a funny moment with the crowd after her quarterfinal win at the French Open. The crowd cheered after her win, and Sabalenka playfully said that she knew that everyone was waiting for Djokovic’s match.
Sabalenka had also talked about wanting to play mixed doubles alongside Djokovic last year. The Belarusian’s wish almost became true as she and Djokovic were on team Falcon at the 2022 World Tennis League. Both were seen dancing and enjoying the music on court. The 25-year-old led the dance floor as Djokovic tried to imitate her steps.

Sabalenka and Djokovic are currently ranked No. 2 on the tour. Both have collected over eight thousand points this season and will have to take their chances at Cincinnati and the US Open to get to the top spot.
Both players last played a doubles match in January at Adelaide, and maybe next year, the fans can see a mixed doubles combination happening.
