The 2023 Nitto ATP Finals at Turin is coming to an end as Novak Djokovic faced Jannik Sinner in one of the most awaited matches of the year. With the prestigious crown, players stand to win a huge chunk of prize money from the $15 million pool. It remains the highest prize money awarded on the tour. Last year, Djokovic had won $4,740,300 while taking the title without losing a match.
The defending champion this season will receive a record-breaking $4,801,500 and 1500 ranking points. A player who loses a group stage but wins the title will receive $2,201,000 and 500 points. The runner-up will receive $ 1,100,000 alongside 400 points. The completion of three group-stage matches will fetch around $325,000 dollars and will increase with each victory.

The tournament will reward each victory in the group stages with $390,000 and 200 points. The alternate player will receive $152,500, increasing based on the number of matches and wins. The event has raised the prize money for doubles players as well. Although it does not match up to the singles, there has been an increase compared to the last few years.
Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury win record prize money at Nitto ATP Finals
The undefeated champions in doubles, Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury, have won a record $943,650. They had also won the title last year without losing a match. The doubles players receive $132,000 after completing each group stage match. Each win in the group stage will be an additional $95,000 dollars. The ranking points are similar to singles in each game.
The semifinalists will receive $175,650, and for the alternate, it is $50,850. Last year, Ram and Salisbury had won $930,300. Ram has become one of the oldest doubles players to take the title; the 39-year-old won his fourth title of the season at Turin. Mike Bryan holds the record for the oldest player to win the event in doubles as he was 40 when he won the title in 2018 along with Jack Sock.

Next season, the prize money is expected to increase further, with players also receiving additional financial benefits from the ATP. As the doubles competition has ended, Djokovic and Sinner will face off in a historic final. The Italian can take the title and win the biggest paycheck in tennis history as he has not lost a match yet. The crowd will do its duty to distract Djokovic as it had done in the previous rounds.
