Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo, popularly hailed as Giannis, is a professional basketball player of Greek-Nigerian descent. He was born on December 6, 1994, in Athens, Greece. He currently represents the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.

Before entering the 2013 NBA draft he was playing for a Greek professional basketball team called Filathlitikos. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks in the draft. 

He has not switched teams since joining the Bucks. He became the NBA champion in 2021. He was also the MVP in the finals. He has been on the NBA All-Star team seven consecutive times since 2013.
