Caitlin E. Clark born on January 22, 2002, is an American College Basketball player for Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten Conference.
She attended Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. Where she was a top player in her class and named a McDonald’s All-American.
She started her career with Iowa, in her first season she led the NCAA division, shared national freshman of the year honors, and was an All-American. She won the Dawn Staley Award three times and the Nancy Lieberman Award two times as the top division l player in her position.
Clark has won three gold medals representing the United States in 2017 under -16 FIBA Under-16 Women’s Americas Championship and the 2021 FIBA Under-19 Women’s Basketball World Cup.

Clark was born to Anne Nizzi Clark and Brent Clark. Her mother is of Italian descent. Her father played basketball and baseball at Simpson College. Clark’s older brother, Blake now is a football player at Iowa State.
Clark has four career 20- points, and 10 assist games in the NCAA Tournament the most in Division I since 2000. She’s also become the first woman to record a triple-double in the title game and the only Division I player with 30 points and 15 assists in one game over the last 20 seasons. She became the first player to win Dawn Staley Award, given to the nation’s top guard, in consecutive seasons. This season (2022-2023) she won 18 Player of the Week award. She’s the fastest Division I player to reach 1500 career points over the last 29 seasons.
She played 100 games throughout her career with an average of 27.2 points, 8.0 assists, 7.0 rebounds, and .5 blocks per game.
