The South Korean midfielder retired from the game in 2014 and since then has utilized his engine to improve the standard of Asian soccer. He was the head of Youth development strategy at Korean FA from 2017 to 2018. At present, Park Ji-Sung has been the technical director of K League 1 side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors for the last three years.

Park Ji-Sung joined Manchester United in the summer of 2005. The South Korean played for seven years at the club and cemented his legacy as the best Asian player in the English club’s history. The midfielder played 204 games for the English side and scored 28 goals and 30 assists.

The midfielder won 11 major trophies with Manchester United before moving away to QPR in the summer of 2012. Park Ji-Sung played another season in England with QPR before returning to PSV for a loan spell in the summer of 2013.
The loan spell at PSV was the last season in the career of the midfielder. Park Ji-Sung retired from professional soccer after playing 428 club games, in which he scored 60 goals and 50 assists. The South Korean engine won 17 major titles in his career to cement his legacy as the best export to European soccer from South Korea.
