AS reports that WWE is determined to elevate the profile of this November event and has its sights set on Cristiano Ronaldo to add a touch of star power. Fortunately for Ronaldo, the logistics are straightforward, as his current club, Al-Nassr, is based in Riyadh, precisely where the event will unfold.
This endeavor won’t mark the first occasion when a soccer personality has stepped into the WWE spotlight. Previously, we’ve seen the likes of former Manchester United player Wayne Rooney and manager José Mourinho grace the ringside at WWE events.

It’s worth noting that Al-Nassr enjoys backing from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which invests a staggering $215 million per season in Ronaldo’s wages. Naturally, the stakeholders at Al-Nassr are eager for their prized asset to play a role in promoting another high-profile event in Saudi Arabia, aligning seamlessly with the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.
In the midst of these developments, WWE is also eager to make a resounding statement. Following its acquisition by Endeavor in April, WWE is strategically aligning itself with its counterpart, the colossal entity that is UFC, in a bid to create synergies and captivate the world with its future events.
Al-Nassr fixtures in November
As per reports, Crown Jewel is slated for November 4, sandwiched between two crucial Al-Nassr fixtures spanning different competitions.
On November 1, Al-Nassr will clash with Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League, and shortly thereafter, on November 7, they face Al-Duhail in Duhail, Qatar, marking their fourth encounter in the group stage of the AFC Champions League.

The intriguing aspect here lies in whether Ronaldo will consider embracing another diversion by making an appearance at the WWE event, just prior to their demanding AFC Champions League away match.
Post their engagement with Al-Duhail, Al-Nassr faces a packed calendar for the remainder of the month. They travel to face Al-Wehda, followed by a home fixture against Al-Akhdoud in the Saudi Pro League.
Their schedule further unfolds with a home clash against Persepolis on November 27 in the AFC Champions League, culminating the month with a significant showdown against the current league leaders, Al-Hilal.
Al-Nassr presently stands in sixth place in the league, having experienced initial setbacks with two losses but making a remarkable resurgence with four consecutive victories. As things stand, they trail the league leaders by just four points.
