Ravel Morrison’s soccer career so far
Morrison started his stint in professional soccer with Manchester United’s Under-18 side. After he garnered attention on the domestic front with his decent performances for the club, the Premier League side West Ham bought the player from United in 2012.
In his days at West Ham United, Morrison was loaned out to several fellow English clubs like Queens Park Rangers (QPR), and Cardiff City FC. After his West Ham contract expiration, the player joined the Seria A club Lazio as a free agent. Even Lazio loaned him out to clubs like Atlas and QPR, before selling him on a free transfer to Swedish club Ostersunds FK.
After just spending close to six months at Ostersunds FK, Morrison joined England’s club Sheffield United where he stayed till September 2020. The Championship club Derby County acquired him as a free agent in August 2021. After one year at the club, he joined the MLS side DC United.
At DC United Ravel Morrison struggled to find much playing time. It can be inferred from the player’s career graph, that there were a lot of loan spells and free transfers, as he wasn’t quite able to cement his spot in any of the clubs he played for prominently.
