Cristiano Ronaldo had his contract terminated at Manchester United ahead of the Qatar World Cup following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan that saw the Portugal star tell ‘his side of the story’.
The forward said that he did not respect manager Erik ten Hag, among other grievances of the club, triggering his long-awaited release from Old Trafford.
The 37-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Saudi Arabia, making him the highest-paid player in the world.

After being introduced as Al-Nassr’s new member, Cristiano Ronaldo was greeted with his trademark ‘Siu’ celebration.
Ronaldo was introduced to the press on Tuesday afternoon, and some journalists began shouting ‘Siu’ at the ex-Juventus star, leaving him feeling rather uneasy. The appreciative chants fell hollow, with others in the room reluctant to join in the joy.

After the shouts, Ronaldo gave an uneasy smile and arched his eyebrows before swiftly turning to the Al-Nassr presenter in the hopes that she would quickly brush over the situation and ask him a question to move the situation along, and she did. During his news conference, the forward addressed numerous significant talking points, including dispelling reports that Al-Nassr was the only team interested in signing him.
Fans react as Saudi Arabian Journalist hits Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration
Fans were pretty convinced that Ronaldo was feeling uncomfortable after getting such a response due to his reaction after hearing the “siuu” from the journalist.
After seeing Ronaldo’s response, fans on Reddit reacted by saying “ngl he looks pretty uncomfortable”, and “He looks embarrassed”. Another fan went on to say “I think the 200 mill cash in his pocket giving him a wedgie.”

Ronaldo’s iconic celebration began in 2014 against Chelsea in a friendly match. Since then “the siuuu” has been a global sensation and has been performed by fans as well as professional athletes from different sports as well.
Although it is right to assume that Ronaldo appreciates the global influence that led to his iconic celebration being so iconic, seeing the celebration performed by a journalist is not something that the Portuguese expected in a formal setting.
