The draw for the UEFA Champions League season 2023-2024 is scheduled to take place on August 31. It is being held after the last three teams have booked their spots in the tournament. However, the pots for the draw have been finalized. There are a total of four pots, consisting of eight teams each. The defending champions, Manchester City, find themselves in the Pot 1 with the absence of Barcelona and Sevilla. Returning to the Champions League after a gap of seven seasons, Arsenal were in the Pot 2 with teams like Real Madrid and Manchester United.
Seria A giant, AC Milan, is in Pot 3, while Newcastle United found themselves in the competition after a gap of 21 years and are placed in Pot 4 alongside FC Union Berlin, a team that is currently sitting at the top of the Bundesliga table with two wins in two matches.

Pot 1 consists of the names of the following teams: Manchester City, Napoli, Sevilla, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Benfica, Paris Saint-Germain, and Feyenoord FC. The 32-team group stage of the UEFA Champions League can kick off in mid-September. The UEFA Champions League’s knockout phase with the last sixteen teams will begin in February 2024.
