Kylian Mbappe has sued a social media influencer named Mohamed Henni, who allegedly named a food item after him. The issue has also gotten a lot messier after the Paris Saint-Germain player filed a case against Henni, who has retaliated against Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe sues an influencer for naming him after a bread
Mohamed Henni owns a kebab franchise named Klub Kebab with locations all over France. One of the items on his menu is a Klub Kebab sandwich, which is described as having a great mixture of spices, vegetables, and chicken. However, his sandwich has gone viral for all the wrong reasons since it is alleged that Henni is misusing Mbappe’s name to sell his product.
The description of the product includes the lines, “Round baker’s bread, as round as Mbappe’s skull.” This has offended the French player who has decided to take the matter to court. The internet personality has revealed a letter that he received from Kylian’s lawyer, Delphine Verheyden which issued a warning for his enterprise.
The letter read (via RMC Sport), “Mr. Henni uses the name of Kylian Mbappé Lottin for commercial and promotional purposes, without having previously obtained his explicit contentment for this use.”

The 25-year-old’s entourage has given Henni 8 days to put an end to the joke, which brings derision to the PSG striker’s name. Mohamed Henni is an Instagram troll who supports Kylian’s rival club, Olympique Marseille.
The influencer has even previously tried to poke Kylian by supporting Real Sociedad in the 2nd leg of the Quarter Finals of the UCL 23/24. Henni wore a Sociedad kit with “Remontada” (Spanish for comeback) written at the back, thus riling up the French club.
Mohamed Henni also uploaded a story on March 14, 2024, which he captioned, “OM is not PSG.” He once again discredited PSG by saying in an IG story, “They’ve (PSG) Lost Their Sh*t.” The Marseille fan issued a warning to the Parisien club, who are set to face his club in a Ligue 1 fixture on April 1, 2024.
Mohamed Henni lashes out at Kylian after getting sued
However, the internet personality has shown no signs of backing out of the fight. Henni posted a message on his social media accounts in which he showed his surprise at the letter that he received from Kylian Mbappe. He even put up a cryptic Instagram story where he spoke ill of the 25-year-old’s club, PSG. According to Mohamed Henni, Kylian Mbappe should feel ashamed to have sued him for such a trivial matter.
The internet personality wrote, “Mbappé is attacking me in court, I am devastated. I didn’t think a player at this level had time to think about me.” He was apparently shocked that a player of Kylian Mbappe’s stature had used his time and money to attack him, while Mohamed only wanted to spread humor on the Internet.
Mohamed Henni also reiterated that when he named a sandwich after Dmitri Payet, the former OM player never said anything. According to the internet personality, Dmitri had values, unlike Kylian, that did not allow him to make a fuss about such small matters.
Mohamed Henni has also announced that he’s not afraid to stand trial against Kylian. However, The PSG striker would like to avoid any further controversies before his move to Real Madrid in the summer of 2024.
