Celta Vigo skipper Iago Aspas does not believe the addition of Kylian Mbappe can make Real Madrid an invincible force. According to Aspas, if the addition of star players wins you trophies then Paris Saint-Germain should have won the UEFA Champions League.
The Spanish striker gave an interview to Diario AS a day before his crucial encounter with Real Madrid in La Liga. Mbappe has been rumored to join Madrid for years now. Finally, with the news about him leaving PSG confirmed, he will be looking to make a move to Spain. Although his move to Spain is not confirmed by any means, his likeliest destination is the Spanish capital.
Aspas believes if Mbappe does switch to Spain, it will help the league, overall. According to Football Espana, Aspas said, “It would be good for La Liga because the better players who come, the more repercussion and economic income will be generated. After that, the cake would have to be shared a little better so that the other teams could get a little closer to Real Madrid.”

He acknowledged that Madrid will be unstoppable as a team on paper. However, it was the same for PSG and they do not have a European trophy to show for it. He said, “On paper, it is very easy to say that Real Madrid are going to sweep everything Mbappe, but that has to be reflected on the pitch. PSG were also going to be the bomb with Messi and Neymar, but they didn’t win the Champions League any year.”
Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Neymar played together for two seasons. They won the Ligue 1 both seasons but in both those seasons, they crashed out of the UCL in the RO 16.

I’ve never thought about moving from here.”
