Because he is so passionate about the darts game, Madison participates in the darts celebration. Being a keen player himself, the 26-year-old frequently attends darts events. He explained his decision to adopt it in a speech at the World Grand Prix 2022 that came after his celebrations. He said to Sky Sports: “The first time I did it was Newcastle away and it was during the Worlds. It was very much a topic of conversation and me and a few of the lads; Jamie Vardy, Luke Thomas and Harvey Barnes, we play darts all the time.”
Additionally, it appears that the board relocated with him to Tottenham, where he has since begun to participate in the celebrations. On multiple occasions, he has even been able to involve Captain Heung-min Son in his Darts celebration.

After Spurs defeated Brentford, James Maddison took a subtle jab at Neal Maupay, and he ended up laughing the most. The team led by Ange Postecoglou showed incredible perseverance as they overcame a goal deficit to win 3-2 and earn three crucial points toward their objective of finishing in the top four.
Maddison, been out injured for a while, scored Brentford’s first goal after Maupay’s lead. After he wheeled away in delight, Maupay spoke with James and imitated his famous darts throw celebration.

Maddison and Maupay smiled after the whistle, but when asked about Maupay’s celebration, the midfielder took a jab when speaking to TNT Sports. He said, “He hasn’t scored enough goals to have his own celebration!” he cheekily responded.”
Spurs’ manager Ange Postecoglou was unimpressed, preferring his players focus on the game rather than argue. It remains to be seen how Spurs and Maddison perform in the upcoming fixtures over the season.
