Ronaldo did this celebration for the very first time last year when he played for Manchester United. It was an inside joke about how he takes a nap during traveling. The club’s official website explained:
“CR7’s celebration at Everton was amusingly a nod to the position in which he sleeps when traveling with the squad, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by his team-mates who are all eager to learn from him.”
This celebration, just like his ‘siuuu’ celebration has gone viral. Athletes from different sports have copied the celebration.
