He shared a video on Instagram throwing away his protective boots and screaming “YESSIRR” in happiness. Kimpembe has been out for 4 months to date due to an Achilles injury and this update on his injury will surely be a positive one for him and his fans. Presnel Kimpembe underwent surgery after rupturing his right Achilles tendon during a 3-0 win over rivals Olympique de Marseille in 2023. Two weeks after returning following a three-month absence, Kimpembe was stretchered off early in the first half. Kimpembe missed the World Cup in Qatar due to a hamstring injury.

This surgery saw Presnel’s season ending completely as it is a long process to recover from an Achilles injury. Fans can hope to see him back in action for the next 2024-25 season. After rupturing his Achilles tendon in 2023, the France international has been gradually regaining his fitness and returning to first-team training.

The injured defender Kimpembe has a contract with PSG until 2026 but has been out of action for over a year.
