Portuguese president Marcelo Sousa elevated soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo to new heights while talking about all that Portugal is famous for. The President has always been very vocal about his admiration for Cristiano who is truly one of the biggest sports stars of his country and of the world.
President Sosa recently addressed a speech towards the Portuguese emigrants and Portuguese descendants in Toronto. In the speech, he said, “They showed what we are: of course, we are fado, we are cod, we are caldo Verde, we are cooked in Portuguese, We are all this, we have a soul. We are Cristiano Ronaldo.”
Ronaldo truly has been one of the most decorated soccer stars in Portugal’s history. The player has represented his national team in over 201 matches and scored around 123 goals.

Former Juventus and Real Madrid star is currently the player with the most number of appearances for his country in soccer’s history. Ronaldo also holds the record for the most number of international goals in the world.
Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates Al-Nassr’s recent victory over Al-Raed, posts joyous message on social media
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has recently added a new social media post after he helped Al-Nassr seal the victory against Al-Raed. The star was back early from international duty after being suspended for a match due to consecutive yellow cards in three games.
The former Manchester United star posted a couple of pictures of the moments where he was seen celebrating his goal against Al-Raed. The post was accompanied by a caption that read, “That winning feeling.”
Luis Castro’s men had quite a tough time during the first half of the game. Although former Liverpool and Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane scored a goal in the added time of the first half to help the home side end the half on a 1-0 lead.

This was followed by a brilliant start of the second half from Al-Nassr as Brazilian star Anderson Talisca scored a screamer in the 49th minute of the game. And to seal the deal for the men in yellow, Ronaldo scored the third goal of the team in the 78th minute of the game. Although Al-Raed’s Mohammad Fouzair scored a goal in the 89th minute. But it seemed nothing more than a consolation.
This goal against Al-Raed was the former Juventus man’s 7th for the club this season. So far in his career for the Saudi club, Cristiano has scored around 21 goals in 25 matches in all competitions.
