Pedri has been a stand-out player for Barcelona ever since he’s been a part of the main team. The contribution he usually puts in sometimes helps us to remember the masterclass performances of Xavi and Iniesta.
Pedri has had a terrible year so far. Earlier this year, the teenager suffered a thigh injury against Manchester United in the Europa League, which sidelined him for many weeks.
The midfielder is expected to play in Barcelona‘s Copa Del Rey second-leg quarter-final against Real Madrid. But, he has just suffered a recurrence, which has pushed back his comeback date by three or four weeks.

In the middle of his injury difficulties, Pedri recently highlighted his future in a press interview. The kid reiterated his wish to stay in Barcelona. At the same time, he hinted that he would be open to moving to England at some point in the future.
“Will you be moving to the Premier League in the future?” “I hope to stay in Barcelona for a long time, but nothing is certain,” Pedri told Diario SPORT.
Pedri, originally from Las Palmas, has quickly risen in popularity after moving to Catalonia. He has piled up over 100 competitive matches for the team despite his early age of 20. He is considered one of Barça’s top midfield talents in recent years.
As a result, it is no surprise that Pedri has many fans from all over Europe. To this end, the youngster’s transparency about a possible move to England may establish a negative precedent for Barcelona.

It should be mentioned, however, that the 20-year-old is quite likely to stay in Barcelona and is not anticipated to move anytime soon. However, in the long run, Barça may face a battle to retain its position.
Barcelona’s unfortunate scenario revolving around the injury list
Barcelona has suffered from injuries since the turn of the year, despite their healthy lead and solid performances in domestic events.
The caliber of Ousmane Dembele and Robert Lewandowski have both pulled up knocks that have held them out on the sidelines. The biggest disappointment for Barça has been the setback to Pedri, who is still out after suffering a knock earlier this year.
❗Barcelona do not understand why the Danish NT forced Andreas Christensen. He was nursing a niggle few weeks ago and played a lot recently including last Sunday and then was forced to play again 4 days later vs Finland. He lasted only 15 minutes and will now miss at least 3…

Pedri was supposed to heal from his injury over the international break. However, he has been left out of Spain’s team for the forthcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Barcelona team physicians want to prevent any hazards, which is why no time range has been specified. The plan is for Pedri to be fully healthy during the last month and a half of the campaign. Barcelona will be facing Real Madrid in the Copa Del Ray game with a slender one-goal lead.
