American YouTuber IShowSpeed recently shared a saddening update surrounding his physical health. Darren Watkins Jr, the streamer uploaded a video that led to plenty of concern among fans. And it also attracted messages of support from across the world for the 18-year-old.
Concern for the Ohio native’s well-being emerged after his most recent video upload on YouTube. It displayed Speed in the back of an ambulance with a wrapping around his head and extreme swelling in his eye. Clearly in pain, the YouTuber could barely string sentences together but managed to tell fans about the reason behind his condition.

He said, “Right now, I have one of the worst experiences I am having right now. I can’t even open up my eyes. I have this thing called a cluster headache. A deadly headache disease. I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I can’t do anything right now.” Speed captured the video while en route to a hospital in Japan, where he is said to have undergone the necessary medical treatments.

Following the video’s release, fans online poured in with messages of support for the YouTuber. Besides wishing him a speedy recovery, users online also commented on the severity of cluster headaches.
Update on IShowSpeed’s condition
Positive news has followed in the past few hours regarding IShowSpeed’s health. The First to provide an update on the YouTuber’s condition was his father. Darren Sr. said, “This is Daddy Speed right here, I’m just giving you guys an update on Junior. Junior is doing much better, he was just not feeling himself. We don’t ever say sick, we just say he wasn’t feeling himself, and he made sure that he got himself taken care of.”

Shortly afterward, one of Speed’s associates delivered some more positive news straight from Japan. He uploaded a picture of the streamer and added that he has been discharged from the hospital. In a different tweet, he also stated that Speed was ‘lucky’ not to lose vision permanently.
