Liverpool player Mohamed Salah has been offered a massive salary by the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, which could see him earning more than Cristiano Ronaldo or Neymar Jr.

As per reports, the Saudi club is intent on signing Mohamed Salah this summer window. They are reportedly preparing a mind-boggling bid for the player after Liverpool rejected their previous offer.

Al-Ittihad could be prepared to offer up to $250 million to lure the Egyptian to the Saudi Pro League before the transfer deadline in Saudi Arabia on Thursday. Salah could reportedly earn a base salary of $1.8 million per week excluding the bonus and sponsorship deals.

As per reporter Ben Jacobs, Salah has been assured by the Saudi side that he can earn more than Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. with the sponsorship deals and bonuses included.

Salah offered a three-year deal with the promise of making him one of the best-paid players in the SPL. Base wage being prepared is £65m with other earning opportunities on top. Nothing has been agreed with player just yet. Liverpool have been clear all window they don’t wish to…

Ronaldo became the Saudi League’s highest-earning player after joining Al-Nassr from former club Manchester United earlier this season. The player reportedly earns an eye-watering $200 million a year. That makes his monthly earnings around $16.6 million, which is more than any player in the league till now.

Neymar Jr., on the other hand, was one of the recent additions to the league, and the former PSG player is reportedly earning a whopping salary of $175 million over two years, which equates to $87.5 million per season.

Reports suggest Mohamed Salah is set to overthrow Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. as the highest earners in the league if the deal materializes this summer.

Al-Ittihad has reportedly submitted a $189 million bid to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool

The Saudi side has reportedly offered a $189 million bid for the Liverpool forward. Liverpool has, however, rejected the lucrative offer made for their star player.

The English side reportedly received a cordial verbal offer from the Saudi club to start the negotiations. However, Liverpool gave no serious consideration to the offer made for Mohamed Salah and maintained their stance on not selling the player this summer.

The English club manager, Jurgen Klopp, assured the fans last week that Mohamed Salah is “100% committed” to his Liverpool duties. The manager shared, “The position remains the same. Absolutely no doubt about that. That’s how it is. Nothing else to say.”

This news has given the Merseyside residents some relief to quash their wearies, as Mohamed Salah has been one of their most prolific players in the squad since he arrived from Roma.

The Liverpool forward has 187 goals and 80 assists registered to his name in just 307 matches. Hence, losing their star player to the Saudi side ahead of the season would be a huge loss for the English side.
