- Recently, Mo Salah reacted to Jurgen Klopp leaving Liverpool.
Egyptian forward Mo Salah (Mohamed Salah) is the main attacking threat in Premier League side Liverpool’s arsenal. Over the years, the 31-year-old has been the go-through man for Reds manager Jurgen Klopp. Whenever Liverpool has found themselves in hot water, he’s been the one player who has bailed them out of it.
Mohamed Salah has made 21 appearances for Liverpool in the 2023-2024 Premier League season so far. In these outings, he has managed to register a significant tally of 15 goals and nine assists. Salah has missed six Premier League matches this season due to injury concerns.

The Liverpool forward recently confessed his reaction to knowing about their manager Jurgen Klopp leaving the club at the end of the season. Salah opined that he saw Klopp’s agent during the meeting on the very specific day on which the manager made his departure public.
However, the 31-year-old was under the perception that Klopp had renewed his current contract. “And then van Dijk (teammate) told me he (Jurgen Klopp) was leaving…I was like: Why?” the Egyptian revealed in his stint with the Sky. It can be inferred that the Liverpool forward couldn’t wrap his head around the news of Klopp’s imminent exit.
Mo Salah on his future at Liverpool under a new managerial appointment
The Egypt international dwelled on the fact that a new managerial appointment at Liverpool when Jurgen Klopp departs the club would have an effect on his future at the club. “No, one day I will leave the club…but no,” the veteran forward answered.

From Salah’s side, it seems like he is pretty open to the fact that, just like Klopp, his time to leave the club will also come. But the player certainly makes it clear that the Reds manager’s imminent exit at the end of the season will not rush him to make any decisions regarding his departure from the Merseyside club.
