Manchester United and England winger Marcus Rashford is recently going through a rough patch in his career, as he hasn’t found his electrifying form at his club in the Premier League so far this season. The bad patch has affected the player’s body language, as the club dressing room feels that the player is becoming an increasingly despondent figure.
According to reports, Manchester United‘s dressing room is growing increasingly concerned over the player’s disappointing start to the season. Rashford has failed to hit the mark this season so far. This is raising concerns about his attitude among Erik ten Hag’s squad.
The 25-year-old forward was a driving force behind ten Hag‘s successful first season at Old Trafford. He scored 30 goals in all competitions. But this season, he has just scored one goal in eight appearances. It was almost a month ago when he scored the goal against Arsenal, but still, the Red Devils went on to lose the match 3-1.

The player recently signed a new long-term contract at the club during the summer worth around $4,88,001 a week. The new Dutch manager had high hopes for Rashford after seeing him play last season. But somehow things haven’t turned out as he might have wanted.
The club will hope that their star winger gets back into shape and form soon enough, as they are already running way behind their opponents. ten Hag and his men are currently standing in the 10th position with three wins and four defeats in their last seven league games so far this season. They might look for a way to make things better for them if they want to challenge the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City for the league.
Manchester United Boss Erik ten Hag talks about Marcus Rashford’s struggle in the club
Head coach Erik ten Hag has had a very difficult start to the season so far. Although many anticipated him to do great things with the club from the very beginning of this season. However, apart from the manager, many are blaming off-the-form players like Marcus Rashford as the reason for such an unprecedented start. Ten Hag has recently opened up about the England winger’s role in United’s struggle at this early stage of the season.
According to the reports, the former Ajax manager has recently opened up about his thoughts on Rashford’s form. In a recent interview, Ten Hag said, “He works hard, he will finish and it will come. It’s not automatic. As you’ve seen today, we were in the right positions and the decision-making was not good enough and we didn’t score”.
He then added, “I think he knows he can do better than he’s doing now. I’m sure it’ll come. You have to be more determined, willing to try and score a goal”.

Rashford has been out of form for the better part of this season so far, having scored just once in the Premier League against Arsenal, where they were 3-1, and against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, where they lost 4-3.
The club is scheduled to face Galatasaray in the Champions League next week. In the Premier League, they are set to face Brentford and Sheffield United next before facing their arch-rivals Manchester City on October 29.
The manager will hope that the player will get back to his old form and show a few moments of class in the upcoming game to help the team reach a favorable end to the game. It is now to be seen if Rashford can get back to his old self from last season and score quite a few stunners to take his team back to their former glory.
