Manchester United is undoubtedly one of the biggest clubs in the soccer world. The Red Devils are regarded as the greatest club in England due to their trophy cabinet. The club has been devoid of glory for some time now and is currently subject to a takeover saga after the current owners decided to sell.
United has massively fallen off ever since its longest-serving manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, left in 2013. Numerous managers have failed to repeat the successes of Sir Alex in the past decade. This has put pressure on the Glazers to sell the club after allegations were leveled against them.
The club has been involved in a takeover drama between Qatar and U.K. businessman, Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Both have submitted numerous bids in the last couple of months which have not been accepted by the Glazers. This has led to a massive outpouring against the American owners by fans.
🚨 NEW: A group of Manchester United fans are planning a protest against the Glazers at the club’s megastore – amid growing frustration over the takeover saga.

A group of Man United fans has now decided to stage a massive protest against the Glazers. The protest would take place on Tuesday morning outside the club’s megastore. The new kit of the club for the next season will also be launched at the megastore on Tuesday.
Man United fans previously staged a massive protest against their owners in a 2021 game against Liverpool. The match had to be postponed after the fans protested United’s entry into the controversial European Super League.
Former Manchester United player calls for an end to ‘sale circus’
The continued saga regarding the takeover has massively affected Erik ten Hag’s side. This has led to uncertainty on the transfer front as Ten Hag looks to build a squad for next season. United have been linked with Mason Mount and Harry Kane but nothing is concrete yet.
Everybody associated with the club would want the Glazers to find a solution soon. The American owners resorted to ‘explore strategic alternatives’ in November. Ever since then, they have not been able to accept a suitable bid which has enraged fans.
Erik ten Hag was backed last summer and he showed what he could do, he showed us a new Manchester United even made Old Trafford a fortress again

Talking about the saga, former Man United player Patrice Evra labeled it a ‘circus’. He stated that the new owners should be at the club before the start of the season. This would give clarity to Erik ten Hag on the transfer front.
He said: “We talk about this deal for how many months now? Since November. Now, the question is: can we stop this circus and find a solution and [have] the owner come as soon as possible? We need to find it now before the season starts.”
Even if Glazers accept the bid this week, it will take almost a month for the new owner to join the office. This will be due to the paperwork that takes place behind the scenes with the Premier League. Man United fans would hope that they have a new owner who breathes life into the club as soon as possible.
