Since his arrival at Inter Miami, Lionel Messi has become the man of the moment in Florida. Messi has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Inter Miami, bringing him up to the end of 2025, with a reported option to extend for another 12 months. He enjoys various perks of being in David Beckham’s Inter Miami. But contrary to what many might believe, his life outside of the soccer pitch is rather simple.
In an interview with Miguel Granados from Olga TV, the 36-year-old Argentine superstar revealed various aspects of his day-to-day life in professional and private spaces. He also shed light on his daily routine, which he has followed every day since his arrival in Florida.

According to Messi, he starts his day at 7:00 a.m. He prepares breakfast for his three children Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro, followed by taking them to school accompanied by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo. He revealed that he prefers to head into training early in the day, in order to avoid the heat. Around 1:00 p.m., Messi is back home with his wife with whom he shares lunchtime.

After lunch, Leo and Antonela prefer to spend some quality time together. They either take a nap or watch movies and series. At 3:00 p.m., they have to leave the house to pick up the kids from school and take them to their soccer practice, as all of them are part of the Inter Miami Academy.
Lionel Messi’s relationship with his wife Antonela
Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo are childhood sweethearts who first met in Rosario, Argentina when they were just five and eight years old. Messi adores Antonela as a mother and shares how he fell in love with him at first sight. He says Antonela’s cousin is his best friend, and when he went to his friend’s house, there he met Antonela for the first time. Since then, there has been no woman other than Antonela in his life.
Leo Messi: “Antonella is a good mother, I respect her a lot. She spends 24 hours a day with the children while I spend a lot of time away from home traveling, matches, the national team and the pre-season. Sometimes I’m gone for a month and she stays here all day.” pic.twitter.com/TK3USLK0Q4

Messi admires Antonela as the mother of his three children. He quotes her as a ‘good mother’ and says Antonela spends her entire time with their three kids. He acknowledges the challenges Antonela faces whenever she is alone with their children, as Messi has to spend a long time away from home during pre-season, away matches, and international duty.
In today’s world, where fame and success can destroy relationships, Leo and Antonela are proof that true love does exist and that it can endure even the toughest of challenges.
