Shakira’s saga with her ex-boyfriend, Gerard Pique, seems to have no end. Ever since Shakira separated from Pique in June of last year, controversies have been everlasting. The Colombian singer took a swipe at Pique and his girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, in her latest song titled #53. However, as per reports, Shakira is all set to release a new song which would be another dig at Pique.
As per MARCA, Shakira will be teaming up with Colombian singer, Karol G, in her new song. It has been reported that the song will be titled ‘TQG’. Although the meaning of the title hasn’t been confirmed yet, it is rumored that ‘TQG’ is an acronym for the Spanish phrase, “Te Quedo Grande.” Recently, Karol G was spotted wearing a T-Shirt that had the Spanish phrase written on it.
MARCA also reported that a few of the lyrics of Shakira’s upcoming song has been leaked. The sources said that the lyrics were exclusively revealed during Telemundo’s show, ‘Hoy Dia’. The new song will have messages for both Shakira and Karol G’s former partners, Gerard Pique and Anuel AA respectively. Shakira’s part contains the lyrics, “You going out to look for food and me thinking it was monotony“.

Shakira’s digs at Gerard Pique and Clara Chia Marti show no signs of stopping
Shakira is showing no signs of mercy on Gerard Pique and Clara Chia Marti. Pique’s infidelity was the main reason that caused Shakira and Pique to split up last year. After going through a very public breakup, the Colombian singer has already hit out at the former Barcelona defender through her viral song which was released last month. In her song, Shakira insulted Pique and Clara Chia multiple times in a subtle manner.
Shakira, in her song, said, “I’m worth two 22-year-olds/ You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo/ You traded in a Rolex for a Casio.” She also recited, “There’s a thin line between love and hate/ Don’t come back here, trust me/ No hard feelings, babe, I wish you/ Good luck with my so-called replacement.” However, Pique also responded to Shakira’s digs in a cryptic manner.
Currently, Shakira is preparing to release a new song which is once again rumored to have digs aimed at Pique and Clara Chia Marti. The announcement of the song’s release date has kept everyone on the edge of their seats. While everyone is waiting for Shakira’s song, fans are also anticipating Pique and Clara Chia Marti’s response.
