The Kylian Mbappe transfer saga looks to be inching toward its conclusion, with PSG continuing to sever all ties with the Frenchman. Their latest attempts to distance themselves from the forward have seen him be removed from all promotional media. And just like Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United, Mbappe’s posters are also being taken down.
The discovery was made outside the Parc des Princes. As part of preparations for the new season, the club has commissioned a brand new poster for the venue’s facade.
And as captured in these images, the existing posters featuring Mbappe are being taken down. The move is perhaps the strongest indication of his imminent departure. PSG clearly expects to be without the 24-year-old for the 23/24 campaign.

The move is reminiscent of the treatment afforded to Cristiano Ronaldo last year. After ties with Manchester United turned sour, the club had his poster removed from Old Trafford. Following this, he officially left the club in a matter of weeks. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Mbappe’s saga play out in a similar fashion, as PSG is doing everything possible to facilitate a sale for the player.

The Parisiens, who recently wrapped up their pre-season tour, left Mbappe to train with the so-called ‘undesirables’ squad. His removal from the traveling team all but confirmed that the forward no longer has a future at Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG have stopped selling Kylian Mbappe shirts
Aside from removing his likeness from all promotional media, the club has also stopped selling any merchandise with Mbappe’s name. The PSG megastore was previously populated with kits bearing the forward’s name on the back. However, recent clips have shown that this is no longer the case. Intriguingly enough, while Mbappe-related merchandise has been exiled, the store continues to sell shirts with Lionel Messi’s name.

These developments further cement Kylian Mbappe’s departure from the club. All that remains is for a deal to be struck, whether it is with Real Madrid or any other interested parties.
