The goal initially thought to be scored by Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, was celebrated by the players with much gusto.
During the celebration, Darwin Nunez seemed to have lost control over his emotions. A Liverpool fan had invaded the pitch and looked to be celebrating with the players. Darwin jokingly slapped the head of that fn multiple times, while Ibrahima Konate took the fan’s hat off and threw it into the stands.
Fans on the social media platform, Reddit could not help but control their glee over the hilarious incident. A user named ‘Runarhalldor’ commented, “Funniest moment of the season lmao”. The incident certainly got the Liverpool fans talking as the players got immersed in a euphoria of emotions. Darwin Nunez and Ibrahima Konate smacking the head of a Liverpool fan would go down memory lane for ‘The Reds.’
The user ‘ProfetF9’ looks to be enjoying how Liverpool’s season has turned out. ‘ProfetF9’ commented, “This season is such a treat!” Liverpool had lost some key players like their star striker Roberto Firmino and club captain Jordan Henderson. Fabinho too left for the Saudi Pro League, but ‘The Reds’ have coped well with the season.
The new signings of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboslai have worked wonders and the team is playing some exquisite soccer. Liverpool are the table toppers of the Premier League 23/24 at the end of matchday 20.

Reddit user ‘jlonso’ has a theory that Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has personal enmity towards hats. The user commented, “Konate hates hats confirmed.” The French midfielder jokingly threw the celebrating fan’s hat into the stands, inviting hilarious reactions from ‘The Reds.’
Another user named ‘vsquad22’ jokingly poked Darwin Nunez while reacting to the incident. ‘vsquad22’ wrote, “Surprised he hit the target that many times.” According to the Reddit User, Darwin Nunez delivered multiple precise slaps on the head of the Liverpool fan, which is the complete opposite of what he does on the pitch. Darwin Nunez has a bad reputation for missing key chances since joining the Merseyside club in the summer of 2022.
Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp hails an outstanding Trent-Alexander-Arnold
The German Manager was in love with TAA’s performance on the night. The English right-back captained ‘The Reds’ in the absence of their usual leader Virgil van Dijk, who was absent due to illness. However, Trent filled the void excellently with his passion and leadership on the pitch. The 25-year-old inspired his teammates as Liverpool overcame the mammoth task of beating Arsenal at home.

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp was quick to praise the Englishman. The German coach said this after the game (via tribalfootball), “There’s still a lot of space [to improve] but it’s outstanding already. It’s great. He( Trent) enjoys it, obviously, and you could see that on the pitch today. One-nil up, he spoke to everybody without me shouting at him and telling him he has to speak and make sure we are now really compact and stuff like this. My God, what a player! Good game.”
Trent’s performances have been encouraging for Liverpool in the 23/24 season. The 25-year-old is playing in a more advanced role which has reduced the defensive workload on his gameplay. The Merseyside club would be hoping for more such performances, in their quest of winning the Premier League title.
