Alejandro Garnacho’s bicycle kick, which silenced Goodison Park 136 seconds into Manchester United’s triumph over Everton, was a stop-the-clock moment. United unexpectedly concluded the goal-of-the-season battle with that goal and gained three points.
Garnacho’s goal was compared to Wayne Rooney’s in the Manchester derby, Cristiano Ronaldo for Real Madrid against Juventus, and Gareth Bale versus Liverpool during the 2018 Champions League final. His strike was perhaps better because he was further out, sprinting away from goal, and made a sweeter connection while under less threat from defenders than Rooney.

Not only that, Manchester United‘s “Speechless” post on X (formerly Twitter) regarding Garnacho’s bicycle kick overshadowed Manchester City’s “Treble Winners” post by miles. One fan wrote, “It’s not even close” compared to the likes of both the posts made by the respective clubs.
ITS NOT EVEN CLOSEEE

Alejandro Garnacho is destined for the top and is one of the best talents at the disposal of Manchester United and their manager Erik ten Hag. His overhead kick inspired Man Utd’s 3-0 victory over Everton FC away from home at the Goodison Park.

After the initial three minutes of play in a Premier League match at Goodison Park, Garnacho stunned everyone by launching his bicycle kick beyond Jordan Pickford. Additionally, a young fan’s day was made by Alejandro Garnacho, who gave him the boots he wore to make the incredible overhead kick versus Everton on November 26.
In the video, a young fan going by the name of George displays Alejandro a clip from the incredible goal and explains why Garnacho’s strike was superior to Rooney’s. After that, the Red Devils’ forward gives George the boots he was wearing when he netted the overhead kick. The young fan was so moved by the moment that it was fascinating for the whole family.

The strike was Garnacho’s first goal since his FA Cup goal against Crystal Palace on September 26. Erik ten Hag’s team defeated Everton, with goals from Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial propelling them to sixth place in the Premier League standings.
Next up, they have a difficult trip to Turkey to play Galatasaray in an attempt to salvage their rapidly fading UEFA Champions League dreams. They will not make it to the round of 16 if they lose to the team that defeated them at Old Trafford.
