SUMMARY
- Qatar hosted a charity soccer match including celebrities and former soccer legends.
- In the match, Speed had the opportunity to score twice, but he missed on both the occasions.
The recently played ‘Match for Hope’ charity game didn’t go down well with Cristiano Ronaldo superfan IShowSpeed. The Ohio-born Youtuber has already been facing backlash from fans around the world for his robust challenge from behind former Real Madrid player Kaka.
However, in terms of his performance on the pitch, Speed was left with all sorts of disappointment. Courtesy of former Chelsea icon Eden Hazard, Speed could have ended up putting his name on the scoresheet a couple of times in the first half. However, the 19-year-old YouTuber managed to miss it on both occasions.

As a disappointed and frustrated Speed left the pitch following the first-half whistle, he was confronted by Roberto Carlos in the dressing room. In a clip that has gone viral, the legendary left-back could be noticed not getting very impressed with Speed’s performance and asking him what went wrong.
Carlos said, “Speed, what’s wrong, my friend?” to which Speed replied, “I’m sorry, bro.” Carlos replied, “Sorry for what? Just control and shoot.” Not happy with his performance himself, Speed yet again apologized to the former Inter Milan left-back and stated that he wanted to quit and not feature in the second half. However, he was then all cheered up by his fellow teammates for the second half.
IShowSpeed missed an open sitter in the charity match.
IShowSpeed must have made Eden Hazard feel that the Belgian is still at the top of his game. Hazard, who announced his retirement from soccer last year, was one of the famous soccer personalities to feature in the ‘Match for Hope’ charity game.

Hazard looked in some insane form as he provided IShowSpeed with a golden opportunity to score. During the 29th-minute mark of the game, Hazard rolled back the days with his insane dribbling as he steadily moved the ball forward, beating multiple players in the process.
He then passed it off to IShowSpeed, who was making the run. He only needed a tap-in to score, but Speed couldn’t take control of the ball as he miskicked the ball, which went out of his grasp. Hazard was left frustrated with Speed squandering away the chance to make the scoreline 3-2.
IShowSpeed apologizes to Eden Hazard
Although there is no denying IShowSpeed’s freestyle soccer skills, the Cristiano Ronaldo superfan’s performance in his last two soccer games has been disappointing. And after squandering away two golden opportunities which was assisted by Eden Hazard, the Ohio-born Youtuber went on to apologize to the former Chelsea man.

Stating his dissatisfaction with his performance Speed stated, “My fault bro. I know but it was wide open, bro. I am sorry.” With a heavy heart, Hazard accepted the apology as he replied, “It’s alright. Even I miss.”
Speed has a history of missing open chances in charity games. Previously, he missed his chance from a spot-kick to score his first-ever goal in the Sidemen Charity game on September 9, 2023.
