Manchester United player Antony has been facing allegations of physical abuse on four separate occasions from his ex-girlfriend Gabriella Cavallini. With investigations ongoing, two more women have come forward and made further assault allegations against the Brazilian winger.
Rayssa de Freitas, a law student, told the publication Extra that she required hospital treatment after getting assaulted in a Land Rover by Antony and Mallu Ohana after they left the nightclub in Sao Paolo in May 2022. Ingrid Lana, a 33-year-old banker, said in an interview with Record TV that Antony wanted to have sex with her and behaved aggressively.

Ingrid says that this incident took place in October 2022, when she went on a trip to England and was invited to the player’s house. She said that Antony wanted to have a relationship with her and also pushed her, which resulted in her head getting hit.
“Arriving there at his invitation, I realized that he had ulterior motives,” Lana spoke out about her experience. Record TV will air the whole interview on Sunday evening.
Antony’s last girlfriend and mother of his child, Rosilene Silva, has left their Cheshire mansion after the allegations started coming with proof and after the Brazilian national team decided to drop him before the World Cup qualifiers.
Manchester United revised statement on Antony
Manchester United have a lot on their plate right now, and they must do everything in their power to prevent a repeat of the Mason Greenwood incident. Though United have made the statement very clear, saying they acknowledge the allegations against Antony until further investigation, they refuse to comment, and as a club, they are “taking this matter very seriously”.
Manchester United have kept Antony in their squad and will play their next match against Brighton when the Premier League returns after the international break. But with more women coming forward with allegations against Antony, Manchester United might need to release a new statement soon.

Unless Antony is found guilty, it can be safe to say that he will be a part of the Manchester United team, as the Brazilian has repeatedly denied all the allegations that have come up against him. Antony will look to beat these allegations as soon as possible and return to the pitch because if the investigations drag on, it will be trouble for both the club and the player.
Antony’s representatives have released a statement to the news outlet F5, saying that “The player Antony Matheus dos Santos has been the target of unfounded accusations”.
It can be expected that the story will keep developing and Manchester United will need to make another statement because, as things stand, their $95.3 million signing Antony is in deep waters.
