Some of the West Brom fans had to be escorted out of the stadium during the brawl. A Baggies fan suffered quite a scary injury on his head and was spotted with blood. He was given immediate attention by the securities. The supporter was also later shown the exit. Fans have reacted to this incident. A follower stated – “Holy S__t it’s Red Skull”.

What really happened during the FA Cup clash between West Brom and Wolves?
Just after the 80th-minute mark of the FA Cup tie against West Brom and Wolves, a certain unrest among the supporters of both clubs was spotted in a particular section of the crowd. According to the reports some Wolves fans were spotted among the West Brom supporters at the home end.
Soon after the second goal of the match, it all stirred up, when some of the Baggies’ fans came to know about it. That’s where it majorly kicked off. Soon the security rushed towards the section where the brawl started. Despite constant efforts things were not coming under control. The play had to be suspended for about half an hour. As soon as things got back to normal, the match resumed.
Wolves claim the bragging rights in the Black Country Derby
Wolves started off slowly in the much anticipated Black Country Derby. The home side West Brom was more on the front foot during the starting moments. However, a counter-attacking goal by Pedro Neto in the 38th minute of the game settled the nerves for his team and gave the Wolves a crucial 0-1 lead.

During the second half, West Brom tried to equalize but failed to create many clear-cut chances. A ball over the top by Wolves’ captain Max Kilman was well received by his teammate Matheus Cunha. The Wolves forward finished the move calmly by scoring past the Baggies’ goalkeeper. His goal in the 78th minute pretty much sealed the tie in the visiting team’s favor.
The final scoreline of 0-2 resulted in a magnificent victory for Wolves. This is the Old Gold’s first win at the Hawthorns (West Brom’s home ground) after a gap of 28 years. The Black Country Derby bragging rights went towards the Premier League club this time. With this win, Wolves progressed to the 5th round of the FA Cup.
