Leicester City has been destroying their opponents on the field in the EFL Championship in the new season. Meanwhile, off the field, a young fan of the Midlands-based club destroyed two Stoke City supporters to win the hearts on social media.
A video went viral on social media where two Stoke City fans can be seen riled up and screaming towards someone. As the camera pans in the opposite direction, the cause of their frustration is revealed. A little kid wearing a Leicester City kit was mocking the Stoke fans with the scoreline, gesturing 1-0 with his hands.
Both adult fans seem to be frustrated by this little gesture, to the point that security starts approaching them at the end of the video to calm them down. This bizarre behavior of the fans was caught by online fans. They were amused by this little incident in the second tier of the English League pyramid.

The little fan gained prominence among the online fans in the comment section. Comments like “Young lad had them on strings,” “Grown men getting owned by a child,” “The kid has those two muppets in his pocket,” “Well played kid, Unfortunately still in dark ages some so called fans,” and “If you actually let that wind you up you are a loser,” gained traction underneath the viral video.
The day got worse for the Stoke fans as they went on to lose the match by conceding another goal. The final scoreline was 2-0, which puts their club at the bottom end of the division in 21st place. We would have to wait to see if another video of the young fan is shared online, mocking the same fans with a 2-0 scoreline.
Leicester City pushing for promotion to the Premier League
The former Premier League champions were relegated to the second division after an abysmal 2022-23 season. However, Enzo Maresca has made some drastic improvements in the fortunes of Leicester City as they look to get back into the top division of England with a straight promotion.
The victory over Stoke City was their sixth in a row in the EFL Championship. They sit at the top of the division after 11 games with 30 points while conceding the least amount of goals in the league.
Only two teams in England’s top four divisions have a 100% win rate away from home in the league this season:

The second division in England has a very long season, with 46 games in the league. It’s still early doors for the club, but the signs are promising. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has been the star of the show with five goals and three assists for the club in the league.
Jamie Vardy is still at the club and has contributed to four goals in the league. The defense is being led by Wout Faes of Belgium, who has been a rock at the heart of the defense. The club has been able to keep hold of the majority of their star cast as Leicester City looks to make their way back to the Premier League.
