Manchester United’s winger Jadon Sancho ran out of favor with the Red Devils’ manager Erik ten Hag. The forward player was no longer in the manager’s plan as he wasn’t picked for any of the matchday squads. The 23-year-old earlier posted a controversial message on one of his socials. Regarding his post, the club’s hierarchy made it mandatory for him to apologize to the manager.
However, further reports stated that Jadon Sancho didn’t apologize to Erik ten Hag. Recently the winger has been loaned out to his former club Borussia Dortmund (BVB) till the end of the 2023-2024 season. Soccer transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano on his official ‘X’ account provided an insight into Erik ten Hag’s opinion on Sancho during the manager’s recent interview.
The United manager Erik ten Hag was asked whether the 23-year-old forward really needed to apologize to return to the first-team squad. He replied by stating – “Yes, we have said that before. But I don’t want every time to return to that point”. The 52-year-old further asserted – “Jadon Sancho knows what he should do, we have made that clear”. “Let’s stop the discussion”, the Dutch manager stated.

In his interview, he further pointed out that discipline was not the major reason behind Sancho’s exile from the club. He reportedly insisted – “It’s not about discipline, It’s just normal behavior. That is what you can expect from a top professional”. He also reflected upon the player’s stint at United.
The manager expressed – “We have had issues all the way through, we can say his stay here at United so far is not a success”. The 52-year-old veteran, at last, asserted – “I wish him (Jadon Sancho) all the best at BVB”. It can be inferred from the thoughts of Erik ten Hag that he is pretty much clear on his stance on Sancho.

Borussia Dortmund fans will hope that he continues to deliver more such performances in the upcoming matches. Despite a sad exit from his parent club Manchester United, the winger looks to be on a mission to regain his lost form. It remains to be seen how things pan out for him in the rest of the Bundesliga season.
