Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the most talked about players throughout his career. The Portuguese has dominated teams on the field while he has also been involved in some off-the-field controversies. This has resulted in mixed reviews regarding the forward from his teammates over the years.
One of his former teammates, Eric Bailly, recently talked about how he felt about Ronaldo. The former Manchester United defender stated how special playing with Ronaldo was. He was asked about who has been the most special player he has ever played with and there was only one answer, Ronaldo.
The question was: “The player you enjoyed the most playing with in your career?” Bailly said: “Cristiano Ronaldo.“

Ronaldo has been described as one of the most hardworking players by many of his teammates. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner is said to be the first player to arrive at the training ground throughout his career.
But this statement by Bailly comes right after Gareth Bale’s allegations against Ronaldo. The Welshman recently accused Ronaldo of being selfish after playing with him at Real Madrid. This has left the fans in confusion as they can’t decide who to believe, Bailly or Bale.
What did Gareth Bale say about Cristiano Ronaldo?
The Welsh international played alongside Ronaldo in the famed BBC( Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo). The duo was part of the famous Madrid team that did the three-peat. But it seems like Bale isn’t impressed with Ronaldo after playing with him for so many years.
The winger recently opened up to the media regarding how he felt about Ronaldo. Bale stated that Ronaldo would be angry if he went goalless, even if the team won five goals to zero. The Welshman suggested that Ronaldo cared more about his performance than the team’s.

He said: “He had his moments where for example, if we win five nil and he didn’t score, he comes in and throws his boots like he was angry. It’s like your team winning the Ryder Cup and you didn’t get a point so you are angry.
Bale further clarified that he didn’t dislike Ronaldo but had massive respect for him. He stated that he liked the winning mentality of Ronaldo which helped him dominate the soccer world for over a decade. He said: “He was a nice guy, we didn’t really have any problems, and he has a good mentality”
This might come as a surprise for Ronaldo to be described as a selfish player by a former teammate. Ronaldo is currently getting ready for his second season in Saudi as he looks to win the league with Al-Nassr.
