Mourinho asserted that Jorge told him- “Do me a favour: go to Cristiano’s (Cristiano Ronaldo’s) house because he’s dead”. However, the Los Blancos manager replied to his agent and told him – “I’m also dead“. But, the Portuguese manager opined that he did what Jorge Mendes insisted him to do.
Jose Mourinho managed Real Madrid for around three years. CR7 played under him for the eternity of his spell at the Spanish club. Under the 61-year-old veteran manager, the Los Blancos went on to win two major trophies. The club won the Copa del Rey in 2011 and further triumphed as La Liga Champions in the 2011-2012 season.

Real Madrid did manage to score two goals and restricted Bayern to 1. But, the Los Blancos could only manage to tie the aggregate score 3-3 including both the legs. Jose Mourinho’s side lost 1-3 on penalties to hand Bayer Munich an entry into the final and was knocked out of the Champions League, much to the disappointment of the veteran manager.
