Brazilian winger Neymar Jr. is set to receive a huge salary following his transfer to the Saudi club Al Hilal. Reports suggest that many top players are being moved to the Middle East with lucrative offers and schemes.
In a recent interview, journalist Kaveh Solhekol reported that Neymar’s possible salary in his next destination Al Hilal. The player is set to earn almost $330 Million in two years. This if broken down into weeks, roughly comes down to $3.1 million per week. The journalist further stated that Saudi clubs are offering advance wages up-front to bring stars to the league.
In the interview, Solhekol said, “Neymar getting paid £2.5m a week at Al Hilal. £260m over two years. Some players are being told they can have 50% of their wages paid upfront if they agree to move to Saudi Arabia.”

The first high-profile transfer was of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo. He moved to Al Nassr in January. As per various reports, Ronaldo is receiving $213 million per year at the Saudi Club. Thus making around $4.43 million each week. While Neymar will be one of the highest-paid athletes in the league, Ronaldo still remains to be the one making the most money in the entire Middle East.
Neymar Jr. leaves Europe after 10 years
The Brazilian star Neymar Jr. is set to leave Europe after a decade. Initially, he was part of Barcelona and for the past six years, he had been playing for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Back in 2013, the formidable winger joined the Spanish side FC Barcelona from Santos. During his time at Camp Nou, he played alongside stars like Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, and Lionel Messi. Neymar featured in 186 games for Barca where he scored 105 goals and had 76 assists under his belt.
In 2017, Neymar moved to the French giants Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record fee of $242 million. The attacker has played 173 matches for PSG, scored 118 goals, and made 77 assists.

His current contract with the Ligue 1 champions is set to expire in 2025. But the player wanted to try out a new adventure, so both parties came to a decision to part ways. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal would reportedly pay PSG a bit less than $109 million for acquiring the services of the winger.
