Cristiano Ronaldo has grown a habit to prove his doubters wrong on the pitch throughout his career. The Portuguese veteran is 38 now and he still got it in him. Cristiano has broken and sets countless records in his incredible career. Last night, the 38-year-old set another record with his four goals.

Ronaldo’s move to Al-Nassr received stern criticism from the media and the fans. His decision to leave Europe for Saudi Arabia has been stamped as ‘money-motivated.’ However, Cristiano has always kept his reasons clear about his decision to leave Europe, as his work is done there. He has won everything in Europe and intends to help in Asian soccer’s growth.
The Portuguese had quite a difficult start to life for the Saudi Arabian giants. First of all, Cristiano had to delay his league debut as he served a two-match ban handed by FA. After that, however, he made his debut in a Riyadh All-Stars match against his iconic rival Lionel Messi’s PSG on January 19. The 38-year-old had a fantastic match as he scored two goals. Although his team didn’t win, Ronaldo was awarded the man-of-the-match trophy.

The Portuguese made his official league debut three days later against Ettifaq and had a very average game. Anderson Talisca’s only goal helped Al-Nassr win. Ronaldo played his second match in the Saudi Super Cup semi-final. This time around he received loads of criticism for having no impact on the game as they lost to Al-Ittihad by a 3-1 scoreline.
In the next match against Al-Fateh Cristiano scored a stoppage-time equalizer to salvage a point. As expected, the veteran forward was at end of criticisms and trolls by the wider range of fans and media. Last night though, Cristiano Ronaldo once again showcased his ability.
Cristiano Ronaldo sets a unique record with his first Al-Nassr hat trick
Al-Nassr’s title charge was looking shaky as they weren’t getting results, despite signing one of the best soccer players to ever exist. Even, Ronaldo’s teammate Luiz Gustavo said that opponents are putting 200 percent effort to play against Ronaldo.
Yesterday Al-Nassr was up against the 13th-placed Al-Wehda. Fans were worried as Al-Nassr’s top goalscorer of the season Anderson Talisca is out for 3 matches. Ronaldo however was set to shut his criticisms up and boy did he deliver. He scored four goals against Al-Wehda to keep Al-Nassr at the top of the Saudi Pro League and also scored the personal 61st hat trick of his career.
Ronaldo made a promise during his Manchester United spell. He achieved the unique feat of scoring 30 hat tricks before he turned 30 and another 30 after he turned 30. Ronaldo completed this unbelievable stat with his 60th career hat trick against Tottenham Hotspur in a 3-2 win on March 12, 2022.

A month later Ronaldo promised that he will imbalance the stat with his 31st career hat trick after 30. Yesterday he kept his promise to score his 61st career hat trick and 31st after he turned 30. Ronaldo also reached another milestone of scoring 500 league goals. It seems like the 38-year-old has no intention to stop breaking records in the near future as well.
