Cristiano Ronaldo seems to have cut all of his ties with Manchester United. Ronaldo left his former club, Manchester United, in November last year. Both the club and Ronaldo mutually decided to part ways. However, as per recent reports, the Portuguese star wants to burn all bridges to his former club, as he has reportedly put his lavish mansion in Manchester up for sale.
Cristiano Ronaldo signed for the Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr, after departing from Manchester United. As per the Spanish newspaper, MARCA, Ronaldo has put up his old mansion in England for sale. According to the sources, the asking price for the mansion is estimated to be around $6.5 million. Jackson-Stops, the real estate agent who has been tasked with the job of selling the mansion, described it as a “masterpiece of modern design.“
Ronaldo’s mansion, located in Alderley Edge, is a massive property that sprawls over acres of land. A few of the perks included with the mansion are an indoor swimming pool, state-of-the-art gym, water and relaxation areas, paddle tennis court, and so on. The mansion also has a jacuzzi, a cinema room, as well as a garage that can accommodate four cars.
The location of the house, Alderley Edge, is also famous for housing several soccer players. Former Manchester United stars Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick live in the area. David Beckham also once used to live in Alderley Edge. However, Ronaldo’s move of selling his mansion seems to hint that the Portuguese talisman has no intention of moving back to England anytime soon.
Why did Cristiano Ronaldo leave Manchester United?
Cristiano Ronaldo made the headlines last year when his bombshell interview with Pier Morgan dropped on the Internet. During the interview, Ronaldo made several striking revelations about Manchester United, which ultimately led the club to terminate the Portuguese star’s contract. In the interview, Ronaldo took a swipe at the club’s management, former coaches, as well as owners of the club.

Ronaldo also attacked current United coach Erik ten Haag and said that he had no respect for ten Hag. He also talked about his infant son’s death and accused the club management of not believing him when he missed the pre-season because of his son’s illness. Ronaldo also blamed the club for not developing throughout the years and claimed that there has been no evolution since former coach Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013.
Within a few days of the release of Ronaldo’s interview, Manchester United announced that there has been a mutual decision that Ronaldo will leave the club. Currently, Ronaldo has moved away from European soccer and he’s trying his hand in Saudi Arabia. Ronaldo completed a mega move to Al-Nassr, where he would be earning over $200 million per year.
